LETTER FROM THE FOUNDERS:

"We would like to first off extend our thanks for your interest in the 2005 'Bonehead Olympix'.  We are looking forward to returning to the great land of The United States of America so we can enjoy these fine events.  For those of you who don't know what this is all about, the 'Bonehead Olympix' is an idea that we thought up while spending entirely too much time in Baghdad!  One brainstorm lead to another, and we eventually agreed on a list of sporting events where everyone can have a good time, meet new people, and maybe even knock back a cold one or 2, or 3, or 4, or 5, or 6.......  The events that will be held this year will be; Golf (2 man scramble, bring your own partner, if you cannot afford your own partner, one will be appointed to you by a jury of your peers), bowling, pool, ping pong, putt putt, horseshoes, and the final event being Texas Hold 'em.  These events will not necessarily be in this order, in fact, Golf is about the only date we have picked out as possibly November 5th, 2005.  Entry into this competition of competitions will not take place until our return as you may have guessed, but it will be a cost of $20.00, and this fee will go towards the purchase of trophies for the event winners and the purchase of 'Bonehead Gear' (T-shirts and hats) for which we are accepting ideas if you might have them.  Of course we would like for these events to take place earlier, but unfortunately, we still have a little time to serve here in Iraq.  Please check the website for updates, and if you have any suggestions, please do so on the questions and answers forum.  Thanks again, and we are looking forward to seeing all you 'Boneheads' upon our return.  Laissez les bon temps roullez!!!!!"
